What is the charge?

Each event is unique and after just a few questions, DJ West can provide a quote that fits your budget.

Should we choose a band or a DJ?

When comparing a band with a DJ, a DJ is generally less expensive and requires a smaller setup footprint. A DJ can also cover many more musical genres and play the songs just as your guests remember.

Do you take breaks?

DJ West does not take breaks. He is on-point and on-time during the entire event. He will manage the show and be present to you and your guests at all times.

Do you require deposits when the contract is signed?

A 50% deposit is due once the contract is signed. The remaining balance is due at the completion of the event.

What forms of payment do you accept?

DJ West accepts cash, check, or credit cards. A 3% transaction fee is assessed to all credit card transactions through PayPal and Square.

How much input can I have on the music played during the event?

All requests are taken. Your input is valid, important, and necessary.

What will the interaction be between you and our guests?

Most everyone can recall a horrible DJ that talked too much and wasn’t funny or warm and welcome with their guests. DJ West is not a cheesy, comedian DJ. He doesn’t have a comedy schtick or a routine. DJ West is a professional, facilitating your guests throughout the many facets of the evening. DJ West is NOT there to insert his own identity, but to make the event all about you and your guests’ celebration.

What if we want crowd interaction and entertainment from the DJ?

How do we choose the songs for the specific moments of the ceremony, reception, and night?

DJ West has a simple form for you to complete, leaving no room for errors.

How far will you travel for events?

DJ West will travel to any part of Colorado or out-of-state. Travel fees are included in the quote.

Are you exclusive at any locations?

No, but DJ West is on the preferred vendor list at multiple event venues in Colorado.

What is your favorite part of being a DJ?

DJ West loves to see a group or a family remember the nostalgia of a song and all come out together to enjoy that moment. He also loves the father-daugher and mother-son dances or watching families enjoy their time together on the dance floor.

What about extra hours?

It isn’t uncommon for everyone to want the DJ to keep the party going. Should your event last longer than was originally contracted, DJ West charges an hourly rate agreed upon prior to the event.
